I have been told in order to know your future you must begin with your past. With that in Mind We have included this article on our web site. Invershiel was purchased from the Mortons in 1977.
After restoring the original stone homes discussed in this article the name was changed to Tynecastle. As children we grew up enjoying everything that Tynecastle and this area had to offer and as adults have moved back so that our children can share the same experience.
These mountains from the stone tower at the corner to the peak of dunvegan bookend all the important times of our familiy memories and 30 years later when we come into thes gates it seems as if time has stood still.
We hope you enjoy the story of how it began.
