Quail Hollow will be the largest Timber Frame we have built to date, It will include over 30,000,00 board feet of hewned Douglas Fir. We are building Quail Hollow for a repeat customer that fell in love with the mountains after buying our 2005 Isabella home and then an adjacent development. While watching “Stoneshire” being built he became fascinated with the timber frame process and the warm open spaces that it provides. While in the past I have only built in Tynecastle, I found it hard to turn down this job as not only is he a customer but he allowed me to chose the site and design the home with only two requirements. They needed at least six bedrooms and it had to have the warm open inviting feel of “Stoneshire”. With the site chosen last fall, construction has begun.
